Clear Ice Technology

Delivers ice cubes with uniform size and shape—great for cocktails and entertaining. Ice cubes are produced as fresh water enters the machine and circulates continuously over a freezing plate, making them crystal clear.

Fully Flush Installation

Allows the door to sit flush without protruding or leaving a gap between the ice maker and adjoining cabinets. With hidden hinges for a built-in look in 24" cabinets, it provides seamlessness throughout your space.

Gravity Drain System (pump sold separately)

Installs directly over a floor drain or can be adapted to connect to an under-sink drain line within 10 ft with additional purchase of Drain Pump 1901A (sold separately), so the floor plan of the room determines the location of the ice maker, not the other way around.

Holds 35 pounds of ice

So you have a generous supply of fresh ice ready for you, right when you want it.

Max Ice

Is a selectable mode that accelerates ice production, supplying more ice every 24 hours compared to normal mode—perfect for hosting everyday gatherings and larger parties.

Self-Cleaning Cycle

Makes routine maintenance easy. All it takes is a few simple steps, ice maker cleaner like that from affresh®, and a press of the Clean Cycle button. Affresh® brand products and recommending brands' products are all owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation

PrintShield™ Finish

Resists smudges and fingerprints. The specialized coating for stainless steel is easy to clean with just water and a soft cloth, so you can spend more time cooking and less time cleaning up.

Filter-Ready

Provides a dedicated space where a filter can be inserted to help remove contaminants, improving taste and clarity. A filter is not required but can be purchased separately. Use filter #F2WC9I1 and change every six months for best results.

Drop-Down Door

Pulls down from the front, eliminating the need for any swinging doors and emphasizing a seamless, clean aesthetic.

Freestanding or Built-In Installation

Creates installation options and opens other areas of your home to supplemental ice storage.
